Firefly Vodka is located on Wadmalaw Island, 30 miles South of Charleston, South Carolina. Firefly is lighting up clubs from Las Vegas to New York with their fresh new take on an old southern classic: Sweet Iced Tea.
Firefly Sweet Tea is a "liquored up" version of that southern favorite. Keeping with the southern theme, Firefly distillery produces small batches of their own vodka in a pot still, made from fermented South Carolina estate grown muscadine grapes. After 5 distillations, the result is a very clean vodka. Next they infuse it with locally grown tea, and finally, they sweeten it with Louisiana sugar cane.

The Charleston:
- To a glass with ice, add and stir together:
- 1 shot (1 1/2 oz.) Firefly Sweet Tea Flavored Vodka
- 1/3 shot (1/2 oz.) Grand Marnier
- 1/3 shot (1/2 oz.) Cherry Brandy
The Original Firefly Sweet Tea:
- To a glass with ice, add and stir together:
- 1 shot (1 1/2 oz.) Firefly Sweet Tea Flavored Vodka
- 1/3 shot (1/2 oz.) Perrier Water
- Garnish with lemon twist
Sweet Tea Mojito:
- 1 shot (1 1/2 oz.) Firefly Sweet Tea Flavored Vodka
- Several fresh mint sprigs
- Muddle mint sprigs. Add to glass. Fill with ice cubes. Add Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka and stir.
Grandma's Tea:
- To a glass with ice, add and stir together:
- 1 shot (1 1/2 oz.) Firefly Sweet Tea Flavored Vodka
- 1/3 shot (1/2 oz.) Grand Marnier
- Dash of sour mix
- Dash of Lemon-Lime soda (Sprite)
- Garnish with lemon twist
Daily Palmer:

- 2 shots (3 oz.) Pink Lemonade

Jack Daniel's Introduces New Master Distiller Jeff Arnett
Jeff Arnett has just been named the seventh Master Distiller for Jack Daniel's, following the retirement of Jimmy Bedford. Bedford has made frequent appearances at Frugal MacDoogal's, taking time to meet the public and autograph bottles. We expect to see Jeff Arnett soon at Frugal's.
Jack Daniel's is also introducing the fifth in the "Scenes from Lynchburg" collector bottles.
Did you know the difference between Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whisky and Bourbon? They are both made from a sour mash of corn and other grains, both distilled in a similar way, but Jack Daniel's is filtered through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal. The charcoal is specially made from hand selected sugar maple trees and the filtering is a slow proprietary process. The result is a unique and mellower flavor.
